ALAN K. CLARK, CPA, MBA is a partner in the accounting firm of Smith, Adcock and Company LLP where he focuses principally on the construction industry as well as high income / high net worth individuals. His clients include major general contractors and specialty contractors in commercial, heavy and highway construction. In addition to covering federal and state tax issues, Mr. Clark's 40+ years of experience include accounting and auditing, financial reporting, representation before the IRS, and other services to contractors. He is a frequent speaker and writer on construction industry issues for CFMA, AGC, ABC and other construciton organizations and publications. He was honored at the CFMA national conference with the Chairman’s Award for 2016. The CFMA State Tax Law Guides, covering all the states, what his project. He is a past Chari of the CFMA national tax committee, and currently a committee member. He authored the CFMA 2 day course on federal income taxes for the construciton industry.
