Marie Myers

Global Controller, HP

Marie Myers is Global Controller for HP Inc. where she oversees compliance and controls as well as the integrity of the financial statements in all countries where HP operates. She leads a global organization of 2,200 employees to ensure financial compliance, operational excellence, accelerate profitable growth and cultivate a culture of innovation. In addition, Marie is pioneering the adoption of robotics and automation within HP’s Finance function.

Her strong vision and ability to deliver was recently recognized by the Hackett Group’s 2018 Digital Awards for Smart Automation. Marie is making the “Digital Controllership” a reality, pivoting her organization from “debits and credits” to “bits and bytes”.

Marie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, Houston.

Active in community service, Marie is a passionate advocate of diversity and education. She founded and is President Emeritus of Anti-Gray Market Alliance Board. She serves on the boards of the Houston Chapter of the National Association of Women MBA’s, the University of St. Thomas, the Girlstart Council for Houston and the University of Queensland in America, Inc.

Marie has been recognized by Women in Computing and was named to the Top 40 under 40 in Finance. She also was chosen as one of the Top 20 Most Powerful Business Women in Texas and was recognized by the University of Queensland as its Alumna of the Year. In 2017, Marie was named HP’s Working Mother of the Year and was selected for Texas Executive Women on the Move for 2018.
