Mike has over 30 years of sales, sales leadership, coaching, and leadership development experience, a majority of that in the healthcare industry. He has worked with CEOs to first-level managers, from Fortune 50 companies to family owned businesses, from University presidents to college coaching staffs to build leadership and management skills that drive performance. Pfizer, Walgreens, Novartis, Regeneron, Astra Zeneca, Biogen, and Allergan, are a few of the clients that Mike has consulted with. While consulting for one client, Mike was recognized as the #1 Strategic Partner of the year. Others recognized Mike as “the best facilitator I have ever worked with” and commented, “He has the unique ability to take the complex and make it simple.” After 20 years working in various roles in a Fortune 50 company, Mike started The Xtra Mile Group in 2007, where he and his team have partnered with 200+ clients to develop leaders, engage people, and deliver results.

Mike received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1986 where he played and also coached intercollegiate basketball, and his M.B.A. in 1991 from Oklahoma City University. Mike is currently certified as a master trainer and facilitator in several leadership and coaching areas. Mike and his wife, Amy, reside in Denver, Colorado.
