Thomas is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and leads the Energy vertical. He provides, and coordinates buy- and sell-side M&A financial due diligence service and carve out assistance to strategic and financial investors. Thomas has more than a decade of international experience in the Energy sector.

He has extensive experience in domestic and cross border financial due diligence, carve outs and deal negotiation support. His transaction experience covers the broad spectrum of the Energy value chain, from upstream to downstream, ranging from $30 million to $25 billion in enterprise value.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Thomas led BKD’s Energy Financial Due Diligence practice. Before BKD, he spent 11 years in the Audit and Transaction Advisory Services practices of Ernst and Young, in the USA and the UK, focusing on the Natural Resources and Chemicals sectors in North America, Europe and Africa.

Thomas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. He holds a Masters’ degree in Commerce from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, India, with First Class and a master’s degree in International Accounting and Financial Studies from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., with Distinction.
