Scott McLucas is the managing director of federal government affairs at KPMG LLP. The Government Affairs office represents the firm’s interests in all matters of public policy before the U.S. Congress, the Executive Branch, and relevant U.S. agencies. In the Government Affairs office, Scott has the primary responsibility for legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010.

Prior to joining KPMG in 2001, he worked in political and public policy journalism, producing three PBS television programs, and serving as the managing editor of the foreign policy journal The National Interest. Scott received a BA in history from Middlebury College.
