President, CHRISTUS Care at Home, LHC Group

Dean has over 25 years health care experience expanding across the health care continuum ranging from Acute Care Hospitals, Emergency Medical Services and into a wide range of Post-Acute settings. He is currently the President of CHRISTUS Health, Care at Home which is a joint venture between CHRISTUS Health, a 6 Billion dollar Hospital based health system with its corporate operations based in Irving Texas and LHC Group which is the second largest publically traded company in post-acute. Dean has responsibility for Home Care, Hospice, LTACH, Pediatric therapy and nursing and Community Based Care. Dean has been instrumental in developing post-acute strategies for seniors ranging from fall prevention programs (serving on the board of advisors to Phillips Lifeline), to non-clinical and behavioral interventions that improve the quality of life for their patients and customers. As the Chief Development Officer for Care South Health System, Dean led the effort to enrich the lives of their patients be developing programs that focused on orthopedic therapy and cardiac rehabilitation. Dean attended the University of South Carolina for his undergraduate where he studied Political Science and Psychology and Georgia State University for his Masters of Business Administration. He currently serves on the board of directors for several privately held companies such as Avanlee Inc., a home health technology company based in Manhattan, Platinum Consulting, a sales leadership and training company and The Ascent Group, post-acute strategy organization.
