Tanya K. She has worked in several industries, including nonprofit higher education, public accounting, manufacturing and commercial banking. June 2011- October 2015 Managing Director/National Practice Director for Healthcare, Higher Ed and Senior Living Columbus, OH At Baird, Ms. Hahn was the managing director responsible for all hospital, senior living, nonprofit, and higher education finance practice at Baird in addition to working with Midwestern local governments and school districts to finance projects at the most efficient and effective cost of capital. Prior to joining Baird from July 2003-June 2011, Ms. Hahn served as the lead investment banker at a regional boutique investment banking and mortgage banking firm, Lancaster Pollard, for 8 years covering the hospital and senior living sectors in the states of Michigan and Wisconsin. Ms. Hahn was the banker on the Bond Buyer’s 2010 Midwest Small Issuer of the year award for innovative financing structures. She was also that firm’s senior credit officer for two years and was their nationally recognized expert on capital funding solutions for nonprofit hospitals. From March 2000 – July 2003, Ms. Hahn was the chief financial officer and chief information officer at Franklin University where she was responsible for a $20 million endowment, $35 million operating budget and all technology for the university. As senior vice president for McDonald Investments (1993-2000), she underwrote more than $1 billion in health care, education, housing revenue, and government general obligation bonds throughout the Midwest. Ms. Hahn spent seven years (1986-1993) with Citibank as controller for a $6 billion subsidiary and manager in their northeast consumer services bank audit group. Ms. Hahn also spent two years (1984-1986) with Schlegel Manufacturing in Rochester, New York as manager of their US Corporate Tax department. Ms. Hahn spent one year (1983-1984) with State Auto Insurance in Columbus, Ohio as a tax and life insurance accountant. She began her career in Columbus, Ohio with KPMG working in both their audit and tax divisions for three years (1980-1983). Ms. Hahn earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a master's degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. She is also a certified public accountant and previously held a general securities representative license, series 7 and a municipal securities principal license, series 53. Ms. Hahn has been a frequent speaker the past 15 years for associations at the regional and national level for NACUBO, OACUBO, CACUBO, ACHE, ACHA, AAHSA, HFMA, Leading Age, and the AICPA. She has authored a number of articles addressing the current economic environment and its impact on the ability of nonprofit organizations to access the capital markets for the following magazines and publications: Business Officer, hfm, Senior Living Business, Advanced Management, The Capital Issue. Ms. Hahn also chairs the Board of Trustees of the Mount Carmel College of Nursing. She was previously on the Board of Trustees for Mohun Care Center, a Dominican Sisters of Peace skilled nursing facility and was Treasurer of the Scholarship Committee of Hopewell United Methodist Church. In addition, she has served as past economic advisor to the Dominican Sisters of Peace, Columbus, OH. She is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and Leading Age
