Roger Logan is a senior healthcare transactions and operations specialist with nearly 40 years of experience in health services administration. Currently, Roger serves as Mercy Health’s System Vice President for Physician Business and Network Development. Roger provides transactional and development support for Mercy’s employed and affiliate physician networks; special health system financial and business transactional services (i.e., M&As, physician compensation and transactional valuations, and physician affiliation and network development), and assists in legal and regulatory compliance initiatives for the $5.3 billion net patient service revenue and the nine Ohio and Kentucky markets of Mercy Health.
Roger is also President and CEO of Logan Consulting Group, a specialized consulting firm focused on healthcare transactions or service operations, physician–health system affiliations, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory and legal support services.
Roger is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and American Society of Appraisers. Roger earned both his undergraduate degree in accounting and graduate degree in hospital and health services administration from The Ohio State University. Roger is a CPA and accredited in Advance Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and as an Accredited Senior Appraiser (Business Valuation) by the American Society of Appraisers. Roger is also a Certified Medical Professional Executive (CMPE) by the American College of Medical Practice Executives (an MGMA affiliate).
