Brett has taken an untraditional path to the Accounting side of the credit union industry. Brett spent time with both Vanguard and the NCUA prior to joining Founders Federal Credit Union as the Vice President of Asset & Liability Management. Present responsibilities include oversight of Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk Management, the Investment Portfolio, Finance & Profitability, and CECL implementation. Brett graduated from NC State University with a degree in Horticultural Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2007 in addition to obtaining an MBA with a concentration in Investment Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Brett has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and resides in North Carolina with his wife and two children.
