Daniel is an Associate within Stout’s Valuation Advisory group in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He has extensive experience providing a broad range of valuation and financial advisory services for public and private companies. Daniel’s experience includes the valuation of debt, equity, derivative instruments (e.g. stock options and warrants), enterprise valuations, and valuations for financial reporting purposes (e.g. contingent consideration valuations, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, and mark-to-market valuations of private equity and venture capital portfolio companies). Prior to joining Stout, Daniel held a position at a Fortune 100 oil and gas company, where he worked in company’s corporate finance group. He also held a role as a litigation consultant, where he calculated economic damages used within the course of commercial litigation. Daniel holds the CPA, ABV, and CFA credentials. Further, he is a member of the AICPA’s Business Valuation Committee, and is a past recipient of the AICPA’s Standing Ovation award for his contribution to the areas of forensic accounting and business valuation.
