Suzanne Marra is a partner with over 24 years of financial advisory service experience. She leads RSM’s financial institution valuation group. Suzanne brings the following experience to serving clients: valuation of financial institutions’ equity, loan portfolios, intangible assets, deposits and borrowings, and trust preferred securities, valuation of loan portfolios includes developing expected credit losses, including default and recovery, and yield premiums/discounts, validation assessment of ASC 310-30 (Accounting for acquired impaired loans) and other valuation models, valuation of intangible assets, including core deposit intangibles, customer relationships/lists and contracts, trademarks/trade names, covenants not-to-compete, patents, and software, for financial reporting and tax purposes, serves as valuation specialist on audit teams for fair value matters, including ASC 805 (Business Combinations), ASC 820 (Fair Value) and ASC 350 (Intangibles – Goodwill and other), and valuation of business entities in a variety of industries for financial reporting, income tax planning and compliance, estate and gift tax planning and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and corporate restructuring.
