Peter Sheridan

Assistant Inspector General, Federal Reserve Board

Peter Sheridan serves as Assistant Inspector General for Information Technology, Office of Inspector General for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. In that capacity, he oversees audits and reviews of the economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and security of the information technology programs and systems of the Board and the CFPB; the development of data analytics approaches and methodologies to support OIG audits and investigations; and the maintenance of an efficient and economical information technology infrastructure to support all OIG operations and employees. Mr. Sheridan has over 30 years of experience managing and directing audits. Before joining the OIG for the Board and the CFPB, Mr. Sheridan was with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation OIG and the Federal Home Loan Bank Board OIG. Mr. Sheridan serves as Chair of the Federal Audit Executive Council's Information Technology Committee.
