Pierre-Olivier Roy is the Senior Product Owner on the FCC AgExpert team which develops and maintains Farm Credit Canada’s accounting, field and crop management software solutions. FCC AgExpert (FCCAgExpert.ca) is Canada’s number one farm accounting software and the first Canadian company to receive the Ag Data Transparent seal. With experience in agile development and product support & training, he brings an in-depth understanding of what makes or breaks the user experience when it comes to accounting and farm management software. A leader at FCC, he is helping to guide the development of the company’s new web software AgExpert Accounting (coming early 2019).
Background:
Pierre-Olivier joined FCC in 2008 as a member of the FCC AgExpert team where his passion for agriculture turned into a passion for ag technologies. In 2012 he was promoted to a management role with his team. He advocates technology as a key to advancing the business of agriculture and sees FCC’s accounting and crop management software as a solid, simple solution that is truly built for the farm. Prior to his time at FCC, Pierre-Olivier worked for the Canadian Armed Forces, has majored in childhood education and held multiple customer service and training positions.
