Andrew Fotopulos serves as the President of Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Corporation of Massachusetts, specializing in coverage design and risk management strategies for insuring financial institutions and their professionals. These institutions include investment advisers, securities brokers and dealers, mutual fund groups, private investment funds, hedge funds, Private Equity, Venture Cap, trust companies and banks.
Fotopulos successfully established the Investment Industry Practice Group for Starkweather & Shepley in 2009, which under his leadership has grown to over 1,200 clients. He was appointed President of the MA division of S&S, Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Corp. in June, 2014. Soon after in June, 2015 he was selected for S&S’s Board of Directors, and named a Trustee as of January 2017.
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Andrew began his career with CIGNA Insurance as a trainee in bond underwriting and moved on to be the Assistant Vice President of Theodore Liftman Insurance Inc. He spent 22 years with the firm and earned the position of Executive Vice President. Fotopulos stays actively involved in philanthropic service as a Trustee of the Alpha Omega Council, a non-profit organization. He also works with organizations such as Rosie’s Place, The Jimmy Fund, The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, and more.
Andrew combines his formal training and years of experience to bring an exceptional understanding and passion for the Industry, providing customized and focused services for each of his clients.
