Kevin Gienger CPA

Kevin J. Gienger, CPA, a lifelong Oregonian, is the managing partner of Boldt Carlisle + Smith CPA's (BC+S) in Salem, Oregon. Kevin initially joined the firm right after graduation from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. Three years later he left to be an Operations Controller with Allied Waste of North America (now Republic Services, Inc.). This role challenged his ability to manage people and to prioritize between the financial requirements of the corporate office and the operational support needs of local managers. These challenges motivated Kevin to develop a set of personal productivity habits to advance his career.

In his next stage of life, married with his first baby boy at home, Kevin decided to return to BC+S in search of better work life balance and a shorter commute. He became an owner of BC+S in April of 2012 and was named managing partner in July of the same year. His next challenge was learning the role of an owner while also defining and fulfilling the responsibilities of the managing partner role. Kevin enjoys learning everyday and can often be found at the local used bookstore buying business or management books.

Kevin and his wife Dawn live in Salem, Oregon with their two active boys and he enjoys cooking dinner for the family. When the boys have a free night we enjoy watching our favorite local sports teams as a family. Kevin can be also be found outside hiking (in his Xero shoes) or camping.
