Director of Operations, Vertex Inc

As Director of Operations for Vertex SMB, Chris Livingston oversees operations and product management. In this role, Chris works closely with all facets of the business including sales, marketing, support, finance, IT, channel relationships, and legal. He directly manages the processes related to the implementation process of Vertex SMB TaxCentral as well as the development of connectors to mid‐market ERP and ecommerce platforms. Chris joined Vertex, Inc. in May 1999 and joined the division of Vertex SMB in 2013. Prior to Vertex, he implemented ERP systems as an accountant and controller, automating enterprise‐wide processes. Throughout his career, Chris has held positions in finance, software development, product management, and operations. Chris received his B.B.A. in Finance from Pace University. He also is certified in Project Management, Database Management, and Business Analysis. In his spare time, Chris enjoys coaching softball, basketball, and Little League baseball.
