Geoffrey Heekin

Geoff is the Executive Vice President and Managing Director in Aon’s Global Construction Practice. With primary stewardship for Aon’s largest global construction clients and leader of the Aon Infrastructure Solutions team, Geoff works intimately across the 1,000 colleagues in the construction practice globally. Geoff began his career with the Chubb Group in Chicago. In 1990, he accepted a promotion and relocated to St. Louis where he assumed responsibility for a five-state region. Prior to joining Aon, he was affiliated with a boutique regional brokerage firm where he directed the Surety practice group. Geoff joined Aon in 1997 and become the national surety practice leader in 2007 until 2012, when he assumed the role of Global Segment Leader in the Construction Services Group. In his current position as a member of the Executive Committee, Geoff is responsible for the integration of the Strategic Account Management function deploying construction risk best practice and strategy into our engagements with our largest and most sophisticated international contractor and infrastructure developer clients. Geoff also was the driving force behind the formation of Aon’s Infrastructure Solutions Group in 2011, and is leading the development of Aon’s talent and processes that are consistently demonstrating value in virtually every winning proposal in the P3 space in North America since 2012. Geoff has served on numerous advisory councils in the Risk Capital Provider community. He serves on the Board of Directors of Textura and Greenhills School, and has been a speaker at numerous Construction Industry and Risk Management events including AGC, CFMA, and RIMS.
