Willard C. Shih JD

Willard C. Shih is a shareholder on Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer’s Commercial Litigation Team and a member of the firm's Management Committee. His primary focus is in fields including defense of professionals, corporate and partnership disputes, unfair competition and consumer claims, estate litigation, and a variety of other complex business matters. He is a trial lawyer in courts in New Jersey, New York, and beyond with numerous favorable jury verdicts.

Mr. Shih speaks frequently on issues concerning professional liability and trial strategy. His audiences have included accountants to whom he has addressed topics such as cross examination.

Fortunate to be recognized by his peers and the courts, Mr. Shih has garnered numerous awards including twice receiving the Professional Lawyer of the Year from the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law, and numerous Best under 40 awards, while also being designated Best Lawyers in America since 2013, among other achievements. The New Jersey Supreme Court has appointed him to serve on multiple committees and panels, including ethics committees charged with investigating and adjudicating wrongdoing by attorneys, and committees responsible for addressing rules of civil practice.
