Julie Desjardins is an independent consultant in the area of performance measurement and business reporting. Julie has authored and co-authored a number of publications on corporate reporting to capital markets and related governance, including Environmental Performance: Measuring and Managing What Matters; Management’s Discussion & Analysis Guidance on Preparation and Disclosure (2002, revised 2004); Climate Change Briefing: Questions for Directors to Ask; Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Issues in Institutional Investor Decision Making; Sustainability: Environmental and Social Issues Briefing Questions for Directors to Ask; and A Primer for Environmental and Social Disclosure. Julie is on the board of the Responsible Investment Association and is the recipient of two Governor General of Canada medals for dedication to community service.
