Daniel Carrera CPA

Daniel is a member of RSM’s global expat team and is based in Mexico City. In this role he supports the firm’s internationally active clients by coordinating and executing on US standards audit engagements across Mexico and LATAM. Specialized industries include: distribution, manufacturing, hospitality, not-for-profit and software. Daniel has an excellent understanding of GAAS, GAAP, Mexican Financial Reporting Standards, IFRS and tax related issues. He has extensive experience planning and performing full spectrum of accounting functions including financial reporting, audit and control testing. Responsible for managing and coordinate audits of global clients. Additionally, he has assisted clients in special transactions such as business combinations, goodwill valuation, debt restructuring, alternative investments, financial statement consolidation, functional currency and conversion to US GAAP.
