Jorge is an experienced transfer pricing (TP) advisor dedicated to value chain transformation. For over 20 years, Jorge has provided tax and TP advice related to the structuring, implementation and support of tax business models for companies operating in the United States and Latin America. His expertise involves the design of tax efficient inbound models for manufacturing, distribution and services for companies in the automotive, life sciences, technology and consumer products. Jorge has also worked extensively in value driver analysis, intangible property (IP) valuation, and controversy support, including TP audit management, advanced pricing agreements (APAs), and competent authority proceedings.

Jorge rejoined PwC in January 2016 from another Big 4 Firm where he served in different roles, including Regional Coordinator of Transfer Pricing Services (Latin America) and Transfer Pricing Leader for Mexico and Central America. Since 2005, Jorge has been consistently recognized as a Leading TP Advisor in Euro Money’s “Guide to the World´s Leading Transfer Pricing Advisors” published by the Legal Media Group. Jorge is a frequent contributor of specialized tax and TP articles to the specialized and general media. He has written about the TP regime in Colombia, TP Audits and Controversy in Brazil and Mexico, TP Regulations in Panama, key Mexican TP and tax issues (thin capitalization provisions, cost contribution agreements, APAs, TP court cases, and TP audits and controversy) and other TP-related topics (IP valuation and business restructuring).

Jorge holds an MBA from the Kellstadt School of Business and a double B.Sc. in Economics and Finance from DePaul University. Jorge also completed a series of international tax courses at the Technological Autonomous Institute of Mexico (ITAM) earning a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Taxation granted jointly by ITAM and Harvard. He is a former member of the TP and International Tax Commissions at the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants.
