Dr. Noel Tagoe is the EVP of Management Accounting, Research and Curricula at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. He is responsible for enhancing the quality of CIMA’s qualifications, ensuring that CIMA’s examinations are robust and providing world-class thought leadership through rigorous research.

Before joining CIMA Noel worked in accounting and strategy roles in road construction, the oil industry (BP and Elf Aquitaine) and led the financial advisory consulting team for KPMG in Ghana. Between roles in industry and consulting Noel taught at leading universities University College Dublin in Ireland and the Universities of Manchester, Reading and Oxford in the UK.

Dr Tagoe is an engaging speaker on the latest developments in accounting and strategy. He has led workshops for senior finance professionals in many countries including the US, UK, Australia Singapore, Malaysia, China, India and South Africa.

Noel had his undergraduate education at the University of Ghana and his masters and doctoral education at the Universities of Dundee and Oxford. He is a fellow of the chartered institute of management accountants.
