Tawnya Nyman CPA

Tawnya Nyman is a Client Manager at The Nichols Accounting Group with over 18 years providing income tax, consulting, and advisory services. She is a licensed CPA and has a master’s degree in accountancy with a taxation emphasis. Her clients include individuals and business owners in construction, manufacturing, retail, and professional services industries. Tawnya has served as the Chair of the Idaho Society of CPAs (ISCPA) CPE Committee and is currently Vice Chair of the ISCPA Income Tax Committee. She has been an active participant in the Idaho State Tax Commission’s (ISTC) rulemaking process and has worked with the ISTC and ISCPA to propose and present new rules to the legislature. Tawnya is currently serving her second term on the ISCPA’s Board of Directors. In November 2014, Tawnya was appointed to serve on the AICPA S-Corporation Technical Resource Panel. In this capacity, she has assisted with IRS comment letters, bi-annual meetings with invited IRS guests to discuss current issues, and review of technical resource materials. This service work has provided her the opportunity to meet outstanding leaders from around the country who are also passionate about advocating for change and transparency in the income tax arena.
