Ted T. Timmermans CPA

Ted Timmermans serves as the Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for The Williams Companies Inc. and Williams Partners L.P, both of which are NYSE-listed companies headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Williams, including its assets held through Williams Partners L.P., is an energy infrastructure company focused on connecting North America’s significant hydrocarbon resources plays to growing markets for natural gas and natural gas products. It owns and operates over 33,000 miles of pipelines, providing natural gas for power generation, heating and industrial use.

Mr. Timmermans’ entire career has been with Williams, having joined the company in 1978. Prior to moving into his current position in 2005, his experience includes roles in the areas of corporate taxation, financial planning and analysis, accounting and auditing. In addition, Ted serves as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, which is an advisory extension of the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oral Roberts University (1978) and Master of Business Administration and Master of Taxation degrees from the University of Tulsa (1983, 1991). He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Oklahoma.
