Rahim Ismail CPA

Rahim Ismail is a Partner in EY's National Professional Practice Group where he focuses on accounting and financial reporting issues related to liabilities and equity, derivatives and hedging, and other financial instruments issues. 

Prior to this position, Rahim was a Professional Accounting Fellow at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of the Chief Accountant. In this role, he focused on accounting issues related to financial assets, derivatives and hedging activities, liabilities and equity, revenue recognition, and business combinations. 

Rahim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
