Nick Aretakis has over 33 years experience in the energy industry and is currently the CFO/SVP for Meritage Midstream Services II, LLC. Prior to Meritage, Nick served for three years as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at High Sierra Energy, LP. Nick’s experience prior to joining High Sierra included Chief Financial Officer for a Denver-based private midstream gas company; Vice President of Finance for a private exploration and production company; and Chief Financial Officer for a Canadian public exploration and production company. Additionally, Nick worked for a mezzanine lender to the energy industry, evaluating and placing debt and equity with small energy companies. He came into the energy industry with a local Denver energy company involved in exploration and production, gas gathering, processing and marketing, after launching his career with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. Nick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Michigan State University in accounting and financial administration.
