Duffy Cummings

CFO, John Eagle Dealerships

Duffy Cummings started as a porter at the local Ford dealership after graduating high school. After a year and a half he transferred to the parts department as delivery person and a couple of years later had worked up to counterman and inventory control. The dealer's son was the office manager and he moved me to the office to train to replace him. He worked every desk in the office and eventually became the office manager. He left to become the controller for Brown Pontiac and Southwest Honda in Amarillo. He worked there for 16 years and left to join the COO as his assistant at Cross Continent Auto Retailers, the first publicly traded dealership group. The COO and Duffy left and partnered in two dealerships. He sold out to him and went to work for an F&I company before returning to retail in the Dallas area. After stints in the Van Tuyl group and with Troy Aikman Ford, Duffy has spent the last 8 years with the John Eagle dealership Group.
