John Cerami leads Radnor Benefits Group’s Public Entity, Automotive and Healthcare Practices. John works with organizations to develop strategies for both short and long-term cost containment while maintaining quality employee health and welfare benefits. Utilizing his background as a Chief Financial Officer and his public accounting experience, John assesses and implements solutions to mitigate risk within employee benefit programs.

EXPERIENCE

John has over 37 years of experience in finance, insurance and the employee benefits industry. He began his financial career at Ernst and Ernst where he worked on several initial public offerings and was on staff in the audit and tax departments. Subsequently, John has held positions as Controller and Chief Financial Officer for several auto dealer groups. He held the position of Director of Corporate and Strategic Marketing for Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York where he oversaw the development of worksite and executive benefit programs. John also has experience in establishing VEBA trusts and managing self-funded benefit programs. Since joining Radnor benefits Group in 2000, he has worked with organizations to develop pro-active, cost effective management solutions for health, pharmacy and disability programs. John has worked with groups to develop consumer directed healthcare, private exchanges, benefits benchmarking, disease management, wellness and cost containment initiatives. John has in-depth experience in automotive, health care and professional services industries. He has also worked with early stage/emerging growth, pharmaceutical, life sciences, professional services and not-for-profit organizations.
