Eileen has 25+ years of experience serving the financial services industry. She has spent the most recent 17 years with Crowe Horwath delivering risk management services to financial services organizations, including financial institutions, natural person and corporate credit unions, and mortgage companies. Her clients range from $50 million to multi-billion dollar organizations. She serves as relationship executive, engagement executive, and/or technical expert.

Her experience includes:

  • Risk assessment, business operations, information technology, credit, and compliance internal audit, and operational efficiency evaluations to clients of outsourcing and co-sourcing relationships;
  • Consultations with financial institutions regarding Dodd Frank Act Stress Testing, Enterprise Risk Management, third party risk management, Corporate Governance, Sarbanes Oxley Section 404, and FDICIA internal control assessment and attestation requirements;
  • Regulatory agreement consultations with financial institutions; and
  • Fraud audits and development of fraud risk programs.

In addition to her professional experience, Eileen served as an Accounting Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of New Mexico for five years. Currently, she develops and instructs Risk courses for Crowe’s Risk practice and various trade associations.

Eileen has presented various risk topics for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Credit Union National Association (CUNA), National Credit Union Association (NCUA), corporate credit unions, Bank Administration Institute (BAI), Financial Managers Society (FMS), Bank Director Bank Audit Committee Conference, and various state associations.

Eileen has a Masters of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing Management from the University of New Mexico.
