Kati Penney CPA

Kati is a Partner with CrossCountry Consulting and has significant experience in assisting public companies with transaction related accounting matters, internal controls over financial reporting and the application of technical accounting guidance. She works closely with executive management in providing strategies and guidance related to potential accounting issues. Kati brings over 20 years of Big Four public accounting experience serving both private and public companies, executing financial statement audits and audits of internal controls over financial reporting; leading technical accounting matters and implementation of new accounting standards; advising on spin-offs, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; initial public offerings; and securities offerings. Prior to joining CrossCountry, Kati was an assurance partner at Ernst & Young and was a member of Ernst & Young’s Global Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction sector team. She serves as an advisor and adjunct professor at the Catholic University School of Business & Economics. Kati received her BA and Master’s in Accounting from the Catholic University of America and is a Certified Public Accountant.
