Kristine Oliver, a Managing Director in Pearl Meyer's Boston office, has nearly 20 years’ experience in all aspects of executive, Board and employee compensation, with a particular emphasis in banking. She has consulted to the community banking industry for 14 years and leads the Northeast region for Pearl Meyer’s banking practice. Ms. Oliver specializes in the assessment, design and development of compensation programs that support business objectives, long-term business strategy and organizational culture. She has extensive experience in pay strategy and philosophy development; market-based pay studies; incentive plan design; outside director pay; risk assessment; CD&A and supporting table disclosures; and corporate governance. 

In addition to her consulting role, Ms. Oliver works closely with the firm’s Survey practice on conducting compensation research within the banking industry. She is a frequent speaker at both Northeast regional and national banking association conferences, and also writes regularly on compensation and governance issues. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Oliver held positions in compensation at Pearson Education and Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals. 

She holds a B.A. from Denison University and an M.A. in Human Resources Management from Rutgers University.
