Jeff Witmyer

Jeff is a Senior Manager in Grant Thornton's Cyber Risk Advisory Services practice with a concentration in infrastructure and network security. He has extensive technical experience managing and performing numerous types of cybersecurity assessments and providing consulting services to help clients build and maintain a secure infrastructure and protect critical assets.

His cybersecurity assessment background includes performing risk assessments, reviews of network security architecture and operations, cybersecurity control framework assessments, perimeter network security assessments and threat profiling. Additionally, Jeff leads and manages technical teams performing vulnerability assessments, network penetration testing and application security assessments. He also provides consultative services to help clients establish a secure network infrastructure and build out their overall cyber risk management programs. This includes providing guidance and oversight for implementing processes and controls to support security operations.

Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science and Master’s Degree in Information Security and Assurance from Robert Morris University. Jeff is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Payment Cared Industry (PCI) Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
