Gregory S. Allison CPA

Gregory S. Allison is a Teaching Professor at the University of North Carolina School of Government in Chapel Hill. He has been on the faculty since 1997 and previously was an Assistant Director in the Technical Services Center at the Government Finance Officers Association in Chicago. Early in his career, Allison was an auditor with Deloitte for four years and served as a finance director for the City of Morganton, NC, for five years. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications and teaches Governmental Accounting for the School's Masters of Public Administration program, as well as for UNC's Master of Accounting program at Kenan-Flagler Business School. He has won numerous teaching awards in his career and is active on the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee for the NC Association of Certified Public Accountants.
