Ted Alden CPA, CGMA

Ted is Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer for Greenway Automotive, ranked 12th in Automotive News Top 125 Dealership Group. He directs all accounting and financial operations of this multi-dealership and multi-franchise international automotive group. Since joining Greenway in 1998, Ted has guided and facilitated the growth of Greenway from a single point domestic dealership to its present 46 dealership and 77 company international organization. Greenway Automotive is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Its domestic operations are located in the southeastern part of the United States with international dealership ventures in mainland China.
Prior to joining Greenway, Ted was engaged in the practice of public accounting, the last ten years as a Partner with a Jacksonville, Florida regional accounting firm. Additionally he has been the Director of the Small Business Development Center at the University of North Florida.
Upon graduation from college, Ted served as an active duty Naval Flight Officer in the field of Anti-Submarine Aviation. He rose to the rank of Captain in the Naval Reserves.
He received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and earned an advanced degree, a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida. In 2012 Ted was honored as CFO of the Year, for the Central Florida region, by the Orlando Business Journal. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
