Jennifer Briggs

Jennifer Briggs joined the Indiana Society staff in 2002 as the special projects manager. She has since served as marketing manager, marketing director, director of member services, vice president - member services, before being named senior vice president in 2013 and chief operating officer in 2015. She is responsible for coordinating activities of the Member Services department including evaluating, researching and providing strategic direction for all Society programs and services, overseeing all membership programs, professional development, conferences and affinity programs. She is dedicated to the promotion of all Society programs and services.

Before joining the Society, Briggs spent three years at KWK Management Group. At KWK she served as executive director of five state-wide associations overseeing all activities of the organizations, including education programs, marketing, membership recruitment, and various government relations activities. Prior to KWK Management Group, she worked for the Indiana Apartment Association and for five years at the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC). Her duties at the NAMIC included managing its affiliated organization — the Conference of Casualty Insurance Companies (CCIC). At CCIC she ran a national claim arbitration program and developed executive education programs for insurance company CEOs from across the country.

Briggs earned a degree in marketing from Marian University and completed the MBA program at Butler University in 2015. She is a Certified Association Executive and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Indiana Society of Association Executives and AICPA Future of Learning Task Force. In 2009, she was awarded the Association Professional of the Year award from ISAE. Jennifer has served on the American Society of Association Executives CAE Exam Committee and Meridian Kessler Neighborhood Association Board of Directors. She currently serves as Secretary of the board of the Ensemble Music Society in Indianapolis.
