Johanna Richman CPA

Johanna is the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of the Queens Library, which is one of 3 library systems serving NYC. Queens Library is one of the largest library systems in the world with 66 branches serving over 2.5 million people. Queens Library system also provides after-school enrichment programs, Universal Pre-K, services for new immigants, job and technology training in addition to over 10 million items in our collections representing 25 languages.

Prior to joining the Queens Library, Johanna was the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of the ASPCA. She is a Certified Public Accountant who has specialized in the nonprofit industry since her first nonprofit audit at Deloitte in 1994. Johanna is a board trustee of the Foundation for Accounting Education, a 501(c)(3) organization that administers the strategic initiative of the NYS Society of CPAs to provide lifelong continuous education to Certified Public Accountants in New York State.
