Tamara J. Driscoll joined the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation in 2011 as Associate General Counsel where she focuses on the foundation’s ethics and compliance program, information security, litigation, and global office operations.

Prior to transitioning to an in-house counsel position at World Vision in 2008, Ms. Driscoll managed the Seattle office of the national class action law firm Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, LLP litigating complex state and federal shareholder derivative, corporate financial compliance, securities, product liability, and consumer class actions. While in private practice, Ms. Driscoll was named a “Washington Rising Star” – one of Washington’s best lawyers under the age of 40.

Ms. Driscoll is an honors graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1994) and the University of Montana School of Law (J.D. 1997). Ms. Driscoll is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Washington and Montana, as well as the U.S. District Courts of Nebraska and Colorado.

In her spare time, Ms. Driscoll serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Associated Recreation Counsel of Seattle Parks & Recreation, and enjoys all things important to her 9 year-old son, including returning annually to her home-state of Montana for fossil hunting and fly fishing.
