Monica Scalf is the founder of The Playground Group, LLC, a consultancy that helps organizations increase bottom line results by investing in the development of its people.

A strong believer in helping individuals sustain personal happiness while pursuing career goals, all of Monica’s workshops are constructed upon the cornerstone that happier, healthier people are the key to creating positive and profitable organizations.

A former sales professional and university professor, Monica teaches simple, yet powerful workshops that transform the relationship people have with their work day making them more productive, more engaged, and more invested in achieving team results.

She has shared her workshops on teamwork, productivity, and personal effectiveness with Fortune 500 companies, universities, non-profits and others.

Her book Live in the Little: 52 Ways to Find the Extra in the Ordinary was published in 2010. A graduate of Ball State University and Xavier University, she lives with her husband and two children in West Chester, Ohio.
