Throughout his distinguished twenty-year career, he held senior management roles at global Fortune companies including MetLife, Nationwide, and ING. In his last corporate position, Tariq was senior vice president and head of market development for ING, where he created and implemented their innovative strategy to expand into growing emerging markets.
In addition to being the CEO of Global Diversity Marketing, Inc., Tariq is also an adjunct professor of marketing and public relations, teaching graduate courses at New York University. Tariq holds a bachelor’s degree in international marketing and advertising from Baruch College, an MBA in marketing and management from St. John’s University and an Executive Management Certificate from Babson College.
