Peggi Rockefeller

Peggi Rockefeller is the Chief Tax Officer-Transaction Tax for Vertex, Inc. In her role she provides insight and thought leadership around tax department operations, U.S. indirect tax regulations and policies and emerging tax trends. Peggi has over 25-years of experience in sales and use, Canadian VAT, property, motor fuel and other indirect taxes.
Prior to joining Vertex, Peggi was the Director of Indirect Tax for fortune 500 global conglomerate, ABB, Inc. Her experience spans across many industries including power, manufacturing, construction, leasing, software and services. Her specialties include streamlining tax department operations, audit management, contract research and M&A.
Peggi has a B.S. in Accounting and Computer Science from The College of New Jersey and is a graduate of the IMD Finance and Business Control program. She speaks at various tax industry events including COST, IPT and Telestrategies and is the founder of the Philadelphia Women's Tax Network.
