Timothy J. Curt CGMA

Timothy J. Curt is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus LLC, a global private equity firm based in New York City. From 2003 to 2014, Mr. Curt served as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, he was a Tax Partner with Ernst & Young and a member of its Mergers and Acquisitions Services group. Mr. Curt, a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and an M.S. in Taxation from Pace University. He is a member of the Private Company Council, which is the primary advisory body to FASB on US GAAP accounting for private companies. Mr. Curt previously served as board member and treasurer of the National Venture Capital Association and has served on AICPA task forces related to private equity and stock-based compensation accounting.
