Jason T. Mendelsohn

Jason T. Mendelsohn is co-founder and President of the Ashar Group and Ashar SMV. Both entities serve insurance professionals, financial advisors, and fiduciaries as an independent advanced planning resource in the secondary market for life insurance. Services include policy valuations, life settlements, and longevity services. Jason has more than 25 years of business, sales, and insurance experience, has held a Life & Health License with the Florida Department of Financial Services since 1991, and is licensed nationally with various state insurance departments. Additionally, he holds Series 6 and Series 63 licenses with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Jason serves as a registered representative with Equus Financial for all transactions involving variable life contracts. He has spent the bulk of his time with Ashar working with national insurance carriers and broker-dealers. He leverages those relationships to better serve our clients and end consumers. Jason earned his bachelor’s degree from Emory University. He serves as a member of AALU, and board member of both the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance and the Florida Hospital Cancer Institute. He is a proud supporter of the company cause, The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. He and his family reside in Orlando, Florida.
