Andrea Millar, CPA/PFS, leads the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Personal Financial Planning Division. Her responsibilities include working with AICPA leadership and the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Executive and PFS Credential Committees to drive initiatives on behalf of AICPA members who provide tax, estate, retirement, investment and risk management planning to individuals, families and business owners.
Prior to joining AICPA, Andrea spent the majority of her career in the Personal Financial Planning Division at KPMG, LLP. She focused on ensuring her individual clients and their closely held entities needs were met in the areas of tax, estate, retirement, risk management, and investment planning. Andrea received her degree in accounting from North Carolina State University and holds her CPA license in the states of North Carolina and Virginia. She also holds the AICPA’s Personal Financial Specialist credential.
