Cathy Perkins is a Director in KPMG’s Compensation and Benefits practice. She has more than 25 years of experience working with a full range of compensation, fringe benefits, and employee benefit plan tax and compliance issues. Since joining KPMG’s Compensation and Benefits group, Cathy has been responsible for advising both clients and the audit, tax and advisory practices on tax issues associated with ERISA-based pension and welfare benefit plans, nonqualified executive compensation agreements, compensation and fringe benefit design and tax treatment, as well as the related employment tax issues. Before joining KPMG, she advised a broad range of corporate and tax-exempt plan sponsors on compensation and benefits issues related to mergers and acquisitions, plan design and compliance, and government sponsored correction programs.
