Michael is a Project Engineer with United Infrastructure Group, a heavy highway and bridge contractor in the Carolinas and Florida. He has worked with United for 8 years as a construction engineer, project engineer, and estimator on many large design-build projects and pursuits in Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, and internationally. His current position is the Project Structures Engineer on NCDOT's largest construction project, the 19 mile Monroe Expressway, where he is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of 37 bridges, 21 box culverts, 7 toll facilities and numerous noise walls, sign structures, and electrical systems. He was also responsible for developing the project's $410M design and construction budget and serves as the project's cost control manager. Michael is a Professional Engineer and is currently serving as a member of the SCDOT and Carolinas AGC design-build joint committee. He is a 2009 graduate of Clemson University's civil engineering program but proudly an avid South Carolina Gamecock fan. He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife of 7 years, Krista.
