Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo

Kelly Souza is a senior vice president and manager of the Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate office in San Diego, California. As one of the nation’s leaders in the real estate industry, Wells Fargo provides a comprehensive platform of banking and financing solutions to regional and national owners, operators and developers, real estate funds, and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Kelly joined Wells Fargo as a financial analyst in the Commercial Real Estate office in San Diego, and participated in the Financial Analyst Program (FAP). After successfully completing the FAP, Kelly participated in the Credit Management Training Program, and then returned to the Commercial Real Estate office in San Diego as a relationship manager. Kelly was appointed to her current role as manager of the San Diego Commercial Real Estate office in 2013. Kelly has held various leadership roles within Wells Fargo, including actively participating on the Development and Engagement Council (DEC) in Commercial Real Estate. Her involvement on the DEC includes acting as the diversity champion of the Development Committee. As the diversity champion, Kelly championed a Women’s Initiative with the goal of improving gender diversity within Commercial Real Estate. Kelly is also leading the execution and implementation of the Loan Administration realignment within Commercial Real Estate. Kelly is an active participant in many local organizations. She is a member of the board of directors at Kitchens for Good, a member of the policy advisory board at the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate at the University of San Diego, and a board member at Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego. One of Kelly’s many passions is interacting and developing students through her participation in mentorship programs at Wells Fargo and the University of San Diego. In 2016, Kelly was named one of San Diego’s “40 Under 40” by San Diego Metro Magazine and received the “Women Who Mean Business” award from the San Diego Business Journal. Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego, where she graduated summa cum laude
