I'm a nationally recognized thought leader in the area of healthcare compensation valuation and a frequent speaker on healthcare valuation topics. I specialize in valuation for healthcare regulatory compliance purposes. My publications include co-editing/co-authoring the BVR/AHLA Guide to Valuing Physician Compensation and Healthcare Service Arrangements. My healthcare industry experience includes more than 14 years with HCA, Inc. (Hospital Corporation of America), where I designed and managed HCA’s FMV compliance program for outside appraisals and reviewed hundreds of business and compensation appraisals. I've negotiated physician practice acquisition and divestiture transactions and served as an ethics and compliance officer. I'm have the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and am a licensed CPA in two states.
