Wendy Allen is an audit Senior Manager in KPMG’s Federal Audit Practice in the Washington, DC office. She has 21 years of accounting experience, including 8 years in accounting and financial reporting, and over 13 years participating in Federal financial statement audits. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), and a member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), Washington, DC Chapter.

Ms. Allen has provided professional audit services to several agencies of the Federal government, which prepare their financial statements in accordance with FASAB standards and OMB guidance. Ms. Allen’s responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of the financial statement audit including planning, internal control and substantive test work, and completion. Ms. Allen conducts review of workpapers and related reports for accuracy and completeness, and is also responsible for resolving accounting and auditing issues, as necessary. Ms. Allen received a B.S. degree in Accounting from San Diego State University.

Ms. Allen has participated in several of KPMG’s philanthropic initiatives including Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, and the KPMG Family for Literacy (KFFL) program which provides hundreds of thousands of new books each year to children in need in KPMG communities and nationwide.
