"Rajat M. Wadhera (Raj) is a Tax Manager for Sprouts Farmers Market, a leading healthy grocery store with 200 plus locations from coast to coast. Raj has over 8 plus years of both public and private sector accounting experience specializing in ASC 740 “Accounting for Income taxes”, income tax compliance, reporting for federal and state jurisdictions, assurance, and audit and unclaimed property.

Prior to joining Sprouts, Raj worked as a senior tax accountant at Medicis Pharmaceuticals and supported both the tax and assurance departments in compliance and audit-related issues. Before that, he worked at Moss Adams, one of the largest accounting and business consulting firms in the nation, and provided income tax accounting support to clients ranging from Real Estate to Information Technology. Raj started his career as an associate tax account in Washington, D.C. He worked on various tax aspects of flow through entities and multi state tax returns.

Raj also teaches as an adjunct faculty at Arizona State University focusing on financial and managerial accounting topics. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Masters in Economics from Panjab University, India. He is a licensed CPA in Arizona and Virginia, and a member of the AICPA.
