Stewart A. Feldman J.D.

For more than three decades, Stewart A. Feldman has been the chief executive officer, managing partner, and principal owner of several businesses based in Houston, Texas, where he has lived for thirty-five years. These businesses currently include Capstone Associated Services, Ltd., The Feldman Law Firm LLP, and RSL Funding, LLC. Mr. Feldman draws upon a strong tax, financial, and accounting background, dating back to a career in public accounting (CPA - Ohio, 1975 and Texas, 1980) following his completion of graduate business school. Mr. Feldman is able to draw upon years of experience on the substantive business side of transactions from financial and legal perspectives and as a principal in various businesses. His education includes a J.D. awarded cum laude by The University of Michigan Law School, May 1980 where he also taught intermediate accounting in what is now Michigan’s Ross Business School. Feldman also holds a M.Sc. (Acctg) and a B.S. (Econ) magna cum laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, 1975. Mr. Feldman attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (Gen. Course 1973-1973) and sits on the North American Advisory Committee for the school. In 2007 Mr. Feldman was Chairman of Northstar Healthcare (TSX:NHC), a cross border roll-up, which was the largest IPO on the Toronto Stock Exchange that year. Mr. Feldman was also admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court in 2017. A graduate of the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and The London School of Economics, Capstone’s CEO and General Counsel Stewart A. Feldman is considered an expert on tax issues affecting middle market companies in relationship to captive insurance companies.
